Asset Management BC is hosting a series of virtual workshops in March, June, and September that build on the structure of the 2021 Risks and Rewards conference with sessions on Physical, Natural, and Human Capital. AMBC kicks off the series with a Physical Capital Workshop on March 10th from 9:30 - noon PST.
The workshop is open and recommended for both staff and elected officials. The subject matter is Operationalizing Asset Management. David Allen, retired CAO from the City of Courtenay, who was heavily involved in leading the ‘operationalizing of asset management’ in Courtney, will be leading a panel discussion with participants from the recently completed Level of Service Workshops.
On the agenda is a preview of Asset Management BC’s New Training Program and the introduction of the Asset Management Achievement Awards. The cost for the workshop is $75 plus GST. Register online through CivicInfo.
