WHEREAS the Union of BC Municipalities encourages all members of local governments to attend its annual Convention and participate in the resolutions sessions of the Convention; AND WHEREAS it may not be possible for all councilboard members to attend the full Convention as delegates: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM consider allowing councilboard members who are unable to attend the full Convention as delegates to attend only the resolutions sessions of the Convention in order to speak to resolutions sponsored by their local government.
