Sewerage System Regulations

WHEREAS properties in the Cariboo Regional District are subject to sewerage system requirements as set out in the Provinces Sewerage System Regulation and the Cariboo Regional District spans the boundaries of two health authorities; AND WHEREAS residents have witnessed a lack of uniformity in the application of the current sewerage system regulations between different health authorities: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities urge the provincial government to ensure that sewerage system regulations be consistently and equally applied throughout the province.
