Recycling Requirements for Special Events in Parks Public Spaces

WHEREAS the City of Richmond supports and encourages recycling in its City operations and throughout the Richmond community; AND WHEREAS the City of Richmond has recently made it a practice to require that recycling servicing be provided for all Special Event bookings: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities encourage its members to require recycling when a group wants to book a park or hold an event.
