WHEREAS the Province of BC continuously changes the names of its ministries; AND WHEREAS name changing of ministries is at a large cost to taxpayers and is time consuming for local government staff to update files and develop contacts: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM call upon the provincial government to develop a policy restricting changing ministry names to within four months of a general provincial election.
