Infrastructure Stimulus Fund

WHEREAS concern has been expressed that local governments across the country will be unable to meet the deadline of March 31, 2011 for completing projects approved under the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund; AND WHEREAS the implications for local governments unable to complete projects on schedule is unclear: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the federal government be requested to extend the completion deadline for Infrastructure Stimulus funded projects from March 31, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
