First Nations and local governments seeking funding for wildfire preparedness and prevention are invited to join the Community Resiliency Investment webinar on September 12 from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
With the 2020 Community Resiliency Investment intake deadline approaching, the Union of B.C. Municipalities, First Nations’ Emergency Services Society, Forest Enhancement Society of BC, BC Wildfire Service, and FireSmart BC are hosting the webinar to explain the program and the application process.
The deadline for First Nations communities and local governments to apply for up to $150,000 under the 2020 Community Resiliency Investment program is October 18, 2019. The webinar will help applicants learn more about the program, the types of FireSmart and wildfire prevention projects that qualify for funding, and how to complete the application. There will be time for questions as well.
