The 2020 Asset Management Planning program has been launched, offering matching grants of up to $15,000.00 in two intakes. The intent of the program is to assist local governments in delivering sustainable services by extending and deepening asset management practices within their organizations.
All local governments own, operate and maintain a wide array of assets. These include, but are not limited to, transportation and water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, information technology, vehicle and equipment fleets, parks and civic facilities.
The Asset Management Planning program supports activities that advance a local government’s asset management planning or practices, and that facilitate better integration of asset management planning with long term financial planning.
Applications may be submitted at any time, however they will only be reviewed following these two intake deadlines: April 24 and September 11, 2020.
