Next week, all BC local governments are invited to build public awareness of local government roles and encourage participation in local government processes. Local Government Awareness Week is an initiative of UBCM, CivicInfo BC and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
Wednesday, May 17 is Asset Management Awareness Day, a day to highlight the importance of sound asset management practices and sustainable service delivery.
UBCM has a suite of ideas and resources for local governments to use to promote Local Government Awareness Week in their communities.
