The Province of B.C. is developing a strategy to streamline provincial permit applications for new housing. To support this priority, the Province is engaging with UBCM and its members on the current permitting process to better understand local government experiences and to hear suggestions for improvement.
The deadline for responses to the questionnaire is March 21, 2023. The Province respectfully requests that staff complete the survey to provide a sense of their direct experience with the current permitting process and that responses be limited to one per local government.
