The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Canadian Women in Local Leadership (CanWILL) project has launched its second round of applications for Inclusive Community Initiatives (ICI). This is an opportunity for 10 to 12 communities to receive up to $10,000 each for initiatives that support women’s participation in local leadership.
Activities must be implemented by local governments or an association in partnership with local community groups between September 2022 and August 2023. The deadline to apply is June 10, 2022. Those interested can consult the CanWILL webpage to learn more and apply. Priority will be given to regions that were not supported in Round 1.
A virtual information session will be held on Tuesday, May 10th from 2-3pm EDT for those interested in applying. This interactive session will be an opportunity to learn more about the CanWILL project and the ICI grant program, and to ask questions of the CanWILL team.
