UBCM, in partnership with CivicInfo BC and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing, is pleased to support the 2020 Local Government Awareness Week, May 17-23. This annual initiative is aimed at building public awareness of local government roles and encouraging participation in local government processes.
The wording the Proclamation has been updated for 2020 to further reinforce the important role that local governments play in the lives of the public during public emergencies.
