Whereas all levels of government and society must be mobilized and coordinated to address the challenge of climate change; And whereas Esquimalt is a leader among BC communities in the adoption of sustainable practices: Therefore be it resolved that Esquimalt requests UBCM to consider the following resolutions at the 2018 UBCM Convention: That UBCM ask the province to implement transparent, objective and prioritized criteria for infrastructure spending that is allocated for climate action.
