Trade, Investment Labour Mobility Agreement - Local Government Consultation

WHEREAS the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta have entered into a Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement which will affect local government operations; AND WHEREAS there has been no opportunity for consultation between local governments and the Province of British Columbia on the impact of this Agreement on local government: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Province consult with local government on the Agreement and either make changes to the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement to address local government concerns, exempt local government from the Agreement or withdraw from the Agreement altogether.
