Section 946 of the Local Government Act

WHEREAS local governments and regional districts have the power to generate Official Community Plans based upon local input and community values; AND WHEREAS under Section 946 of the Local Government Act the Province can approve a subdivision for a relative without input from the regional districts: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of BC Municipalities work with the Province to remove Section 946 from the Local Government Act.
