WHEREAS there are many health facilities in the province that require major upgrades, renovations or complete replacement; AND WHEREAS in these current economic conditions the funding requirement split of Regional Hospital Districts is beyond the capacity of many communities: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM lobby the provincial government of British Columbia to change the funding formula to Regional Hospital Districts for capital expenditures to a more equitable share.
