Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Capacity Building

WHEREAS the Union of British Columbia Municipalities has developed standing consultation and cooperation agreements with numerous agencies and organizations; AND WHEREAS these types of agreements recognize the roles and responsibilities of each of the parties in question, promote sharing of information and encourage the parties to work together on areas of mutual interest: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities enter into a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Capacity Building with the League of Cities of the Philippines, the League of Municipalities of the Philippines and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
