WHEREAS as habituated deer populations are increasing in rural communities and becoming a threat to human health and safety; AND WHEREAS a culling is ethically unacceptable to many citizens and potentially dangerous: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Province work closely with secondary institutions and local governments to discover and implement a practical, humane contraceptive or other method to reduce deer populations in municipalities.
