Federal Childcare Funding

WHEREAS the federal governments termination of the bilateral agreements on Early Learning and Child Care with the Province of British Columbia has resulted in significant reductions in provincial funding for childcare programs; AND WHEREAS funding is required in order for new childcare programs to develop: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM urge the federal government to reinstate funding under the bilateral agreements on Early Learning and Childcare.
