Whereas community forests administer successful forest resource operations, to innovate and invest in community priorities, including climate change adaptation, wildfire risk reduction, ecosystem restoration, old growth management, recreational infrastructure development, and community economic development; And whereas the success of community forest operations has been built upon the current tabular stumpage policy: Therefore be it resolved that UBCM encourages the Province of British Columbia maintain their tabular rate structure for community forest agreements.
