BC Resource Companies

WHEREAS resource companies are subject to royalties, and extraction or stumpage fees; AND WHEREAS local small communities are impacted by the activities of these companies and are challenged to maintain the infrastructure and services they utilize: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities request that the Province return a portion of monies collected in royalties and extraction or stumpage fees to the affected local government.
