The Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP) is an eight-year, $110-million program funded by Infrastructure Canada to support Canadian municipalities and communities in making informed infrastructure investment decisions based on stronger asset management practices.
The program offers municipal grant funding, as well as grants to partner organizations to provide training and capacity-building activities to increase skills within local governments to sustainably maintain their asset management programs now and in the future.
The maximum MAMP contribution to a project is $50,000 and can be stacked with other funding, such as Gas Tax funds or an Asset Management Planning grant, to cover 100% of project costs. The FCM will accept applications on a continuous basis until October 31, 2022.
