Register now for the Electoral Area Directors’ Forum. This re-scheduled event will be held on April 5 - 6 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC. The LGLA Forum will immediately follow from April 6-8 at the same location.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in early 2022, UBCM re-scheduled the Electoral Area Directors’ Forum to April 5 - 6. This in-person event will take place at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC. The LGLA Forum will immediately follow from April 6-8 at the same location.
Registration is open until March 25, 2022. The Forum cost is $150 plus tax, and includes a light lunch on Tuesday, coffee and tea throughout the event, the reception on Tuesday evening and a hot breakfast on Wednesday. Cancellations provided by April 1 will receive a full refund.
The agenda for the event has been posted on the UBCM website, and includes sessions on climate action, emergency management and short-term rentals.
Delegates who were previously registered for the February EAD Forum will retain their registration for the new April dates. If you cannot make those dates, please contact UBCM for a refund.
Delegates that booked a hotel room for the February event in the UBCM/LGLA hotel block are advised that those reservations have been cancelled. Please ensure you reserve rooms for the April event. Delegates that made reservations outside of the room block or at an alternate hotel are advised to contact the hotel to make the necessary changes.
Please be advised that to protect the health and safety of staff and attendees, UBCM adheres to the order of the Provincial Health Officer that all attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend this event and will be asked to show proof of vaccination (photo identification and vaccine card) at the registration desk on site.
