The Union of BC Municipalities is a member driven association formed in 1905 to provide a common voice for local governments in BC. Our membership comprises all municipalities and regional districts in BC as well as 8 member First Nations. The Position:
Working as part of UBCM’s corporate services team in the Richmond office, the Events and Corporate Operations Administrator provides support for marketing, events, sponsorship and corporate operations at the Union of BC Municipalities.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, providing administrative and/or marketing and events services.
- Diploma in marketing, events management, business administration or other relevant discipline.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail when communicating.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently produce results within timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Able to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues, clients and member of the public while upholding the highest standards or tact, discretion and professionalism.
- Able to use standard office software.
- Must be willing and able to travel as required and have reliable transportation.

Hours per week: 35
Salary: $60,796 - $71,524 annually, $2,533 - $2,980 semi-monthly (2024 rates).
