Whereas mental health is a growing concern in the Province of BC and was a topic at the BC Mayors Caucus: Therefore be it resolved that UBCM be requested to work with the Ministry of Health to consider establishing a provincial task force to investigate funding levels, treatment and management of persons in emotional distress or who have active and pervasive mental health disorders.
