WHEREAS Transport Canada is actively working to divest essential infrastructure in remote coastal communities; AND WHEREAS this infrastructure is vital to small communities with limited resources to assume responsibility for these assets: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM work with FCM to ensure the federal government continues to own, operate and manage its infrastructure especially in small remote communities.
