Canadian European Union Trade Agreement

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BC government issue a clear, permanent exception for British Columbia local governments from the Canadian European Trade Agreement CETA, and that the provincial government otherwise protect the powers of local governments; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BC government disclose what it is putting on the table in regards to procurement, services and investment, as part of CETA discussions, explain the impacts CETA would have on local governance, and give local governments the freedom to decide whether or not they will be bound by the agreement.
