Grants Funding for Municipalities of 5,000 to 10,000 Population

WHEREAS small municipalities have serious financial challenges to provide base services for social programs and function; AND WHEREAS small municipalities do not have the capability of providing social programs or functions based only on a per capita funding basis and there is a tremendous need for these services to build a healthy community: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the provincial government recognize this need and deficiency to provide additional funding for the purpose of providing social programs and functions together to cover the base costs with per capita funding allocations.
