WHEREAS the Local Government Act currently requires financial issues solely funded by an electoral area to be approved by a majority of the board of directors: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the UBCM petition the provincial government to amend the Local Government Act to restrict voting on such matters to only those electoral areas participating in the service.
