Travel Expense for Participating in UBCM Committee Meetings

WHEREAS the local government officers and employees are asked to sit on various committees formed by the Union of British Columbia Municipalities, with the local governments covering all travel expenses to participate in committee meetings; AND WHEREAS travel expenses for elected officials to participate in the committees are the responsibility of the Union of British Columbia Municipalities: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM be requested to provide reimbursement for travel expenses for the local government officers and employees participating in the Union of British Columbia Municipalities committee meetings.
