Increased Seats for Medical Students in BC

Whereas there is a shortage of general physicians GPs throughout Canadian communities, especially rural communities, and the current number of medical school graduates are not able to meet the needs for GPs in British Columbia: Therefore be it resolved that UBCM lobby the provincial government to engage or support our universities in increasing seats for medical students in British Columbia.
