ICET Funding

WHEREAS the Island Coastal Economic Trust ICET has expended nearly all of its original capitalization; AND WHEREAS the 50 million fund has been the key factor enabling ICET to leverage significant levels of other government, nongovernment and private sector funding resulting in important gains for the people, businesses and communities in the AVICC region: Therefore be it resolved that AVICC petition the provincial government to renew the Island Coastal Economic Trust by recapitalizing the Trust to its original level.
