Delegates to the 2021 Convention will have a front row seat as current affairs host Jody Vance brings her unique talents to a fireside chat with political satirist Rick Mercer. With the federal election underway, and an array of vexing issues facing the province, there will be much for both to explore.
Ms. Vance is a born and raised Vancouverite who’s spent thirty years in both local and national broadcast media. The first woman in the history of Canadian television to host her own sports show in primetime, since 2011 she’s been working both in TV and radio covering news and current affairs. Vance is a proud mom and a crazy dog lady, and UBCM is delighted that she will be joining the agenda for the 2021 Convention.
