Watershed Management

WHEREAS the responsibility for watershed management protection and ongoing monitoring is being delegated to local governments through Health Authorities from the provincial government; AND WHEREAS local governments do not have the jurisdiction, authority and resources to properly manage these watersheds: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the provincial government delegate local governments the authority, responsibility and resources to meet these watershed management requirements.
