Reduce Policing Costs Task Force

WHEREAS RCMP costs to a community over 5,000 can represent over 30 of its tax levy; AND WHEREAS RCMP costs continue to rise without detailed information provided to communities: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of BC Municipalities form a task force to investigate methods of reducing policing costs.
