WHEREAS there is a need for a coordinated municipal response that reinforces West Nile Virus as a health issue, not a property service: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of BC Municipalities request that the provincial government provide financial compensation for 100 of the costs associated with controlling West Nile Virus.
