WHEREAS the Union of BC Municipalities Annual Convention is traditionally held over five working days; AND WHEREAS it may be difficult for local government elected officials to leave their place of employment or their business during the week for this length of time: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of BC Municipalities Annual Conventions be held over a weekend, similar to the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conventions.
