WHEREAS the Union of BC Municipalities annual Convention is traditionally held for five working days; AND WHEREAS it may be difficult for local government elected officials to leave their place of employment or their business during the week for this length of time: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UBCM annual Conventions be held over a weekend, similar to the annual Federal of Canadian Municipalities Convention.
