UBCM Convention be Affordable for All

WHEREAS the Union of BC Municipalities encourages all members of local government to attend its annual Convention; AND WHEREAS many local governments do not have the financial resources available for all members of council to attend the Convention: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the UBCM reduce the Convention registration fees and that accommodation expenses be reduced by holding the Convention outside of both high and shoulder tourist season.
