UBCM has a Memorandum of Understanding with the BC government that provides that the Province consult directly with affected local governments on local agreements and initiatives pertaining to First Nations. This includes consultation on agreements and negotiations in and outside the treaty process.
The MOU is up for renewal this year and UBCM would like to collect member feedback on local governments’ experiences with implementation of the MOU. We appreciate your response to this short survey by July 15.
