The 2024 UBCM Convention will take place September 16 – 20 in Vancouver, BC.
The 2024 Convention hotel blocks are now sold out. UBCM will not be adding additional rooms to the block. We recommend making alternative hotel arrangements if you did not get reservations in these hotels.
UBCM has secured a hotel block with the following hotels: Fairmont Waterfront, Pan Pacific Vancouver, St. Regis Hotel, Fairmont Pacific Rim, and the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront. The hotel block opened on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 9:00 AM.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking and require a non-refundable deposit of one night's room and tax. Reservations are the sole responsibility of the local government. All reservations are made over the phone only (not online), except for the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel and Pacific Rim Hotel. For both the Fairmont Hotel's reservations can be made over the phone or online using the links provided.

- All reservations must be guaranteed with a non-refundable deposit of one night’s room and tax at the time of booking.
- The remainder of the reservation will be charged, non-refundable, 30 days prior to check-in.

Fraud Alert
It has come to our attention that agencies may be soliciting sponsors and attendees of the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) Annual Convention to book hotel rooms through their organization. Please beware that these organizations are not operating on our behalf and could be engaged in fraudulent activities.
UBCM has not made any agreements with any agencies that offer reservation assistance, nor have we provided any information to anyone for this purpose. If you are contacted, please do not give out your personal information. The hotels listed above are working with UBCM for the 2024 Annual Convention and it is advisable to book through the hotels directly. We assure you that UBCM has NOT provided your contact details to any travel organizations.
