WHEREAS the UBCM represents communities throughout the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the distance between member communities is so great that attendance at UBCM workshops, seminars, and other events can be difficult and cost-prohibitive: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the UBCM investigate the feasibility of using videoconferencing technology to facilitate member participation in UBCM affairs.
